The 22k gold cracks have a transcendent base of sacred and symbolist tradition, referring to the practice of kintsugi, which repairs broken ceramics with gold, increasing its value. Part of the Wabi Sabi philosophy, focused on the beauty of imperfection, the scar and the history reflected by the footprint.
I am looking for the organic, raw, mineral and authentic feeling that makes these works so emotionally close, like a sensitive memory of places we have been.
