about the work
The [aguas] series explores an abstraction of aquatic aerial views, playing with the calm tension caused by the contrast between the chance of fluid painting and the claim to control randomness.
The movement is inscribed in each one of the fluid strokes in an eternal becoming of no return in which everything flows and evolves. We live in the constant flux of becoming, unaware of the uncertainty of the continuous change of life, of which we hardly have authority. Life is an endless task and its changes in plans confront us with a reality:what is not controlled must be allowed to flow. The unstructured, the broken and the error give rise to the possibility that the uncertain acquires an aesthetic sense; magnifying and highlighting the beauty of the footprint and the scar.
